Behaviour
Very peaceful, it suits many community tanks, with small characins, cyprinids, anabantoids, dwarf cichlids and other peaceful catfish. Keep it in a group of at least six. It needs a clean substrate, as it loses its barbels on a dirty bottom. An omnivore, it accepts sinking food and frozen prey.
