Overview
This marshweed from northern Australia bears very finely divided leaves in whorls smaller than those of Limnophila aquatica. Good light can tint the tips bronze, while the stems are often reddish brown. It brings light foliage and remains uncommon in the trade.

Growing in the aquarium
Medium to strong light, CO₂ and a steady supply of nutrients encourage fast growth. Stem cuttings let you renew the group. It can also form horizontal, runner-like shoots from which new stems rise: leave a little room around the stand for this spread.
