Overview
Its finely cut, light green leaves give the stems a feathery look. This plant from India and Sri Lanka shows well in a group, where its branches make a bright bush. In an open-top tank, emersed shoots can bear small blue flowers.

Growing in the aquarium
Good light encourages branching and more horizontal shoots. CO₂ and nutrients available in the water or substrate improve its growth. Leave room around the group, then take tip cuttings to fill out the planting. Its fine foliage contrasts well with broad-leaved plants.
