Overview
This fern circulated in the hobby under the wrong name Crepidomanes auriculatum. Its identification was clarified thanks to adult plants grown out of water. Also called Asplenium obscurum, it belongs to a different lineage from the small ferns sometimes sold under a similar name.

Growing in the aquarium
The profile lists it among epiphytes: attach it to the decor and expect very slow growth. Dividing the rhizome lets you propagate it. Detailed growing reports remain limited in the description consulted; check the plant's identity and watch how it takes before expecting it to behave like a Bolbitis or a true Crepidomanes.
