Overview
Finer and softer than Fontinalis antipyretica, this moss has small, narrow leaves that are not folded lengthwise. Its much-branched shoots gradually form dark green bushes. It lives only underwater, mostly in calm or slow-flowing habitats.

Growing in the aquarium
Keep it submerged rather than growing it in air. Medium to strong light is given for this entry. Divide the clumps to multiply the planting and leave room for the branches. Its delicate texture is interesting when you want a lighter stand than that of the usual willow moss.
