Overview
Very long, narrow, dark green and strongly wavy leaves give this African Crinum a supple and unusual outline. It forms a smaller bulb than other Crinum, but its foliage can take up much of the decor. A single plant shows off its crinkled ribbons particularly well.

Growing in the aquarium
It grows slowly and needs less light than other Crinum. Well-established plants can produce small bulbs used for propagation. Allow room for the long leaves rather than judging its size from the bulb alone. Tropica also notes that plant-eating fish do not eat its foliage.
