Overview
This moss of damp meadows and ditches forms light green cushions, with fairly stiff, pointed shoot tips. Underwater it grows more upright and branches less than in open air. Intense lighting encourages branching and a bushier look.

Growing in the aquarium
The experiences cited show it can be grown submerged and grows fairly fast. It can be used as an upright moss, while staying stiffer and paler than Drepanocladus aduncus. Propagate by dividing clumps. Its outline depends on the light: give the shoots room rather than expecting a permanently flat carpet.
