Overview
Small, linear, light green leaves make a carpet reminiscent of a lawn. This Asian bladderwort anchors itself with root-like organs and bears tiny carnivorous traps. Unlike many floating bladderworts, it forms a true ground cover; emersed growing can give pale purple flowers.

Growing in the aquarium
Provide medium to strong light and follow carefully how it takes, as it is rated difficult. Fragments let you extend the planting. There is no need to feed it with animals: the source says it can live without this extra resource and reports no danger observed for young fish or shrimp.
