Overview
A moss with tiny leaves whose look changes between open air and aquarium. On land it forms branching mats; underwater its shoots grow finer and stand up. This delicate habit earned it the trade name “nano moss”. It grows naturally on damp soil, wood and rocks.

Growing in the aquarium
It can be grown submerged, although it is not naturally aquatic. Low to high light is given for this entry. It is propagated by dividing clumps or separating shoots. Bear in mind that the compact cushion seen out of water does not exactly predict its shape in the tank.
