Overview
This broad-leaved arrowhead comes from wetlands of the eastern and southeastern United States, with records in Central America. It has long been grown in aquariums but remains less common than Sagittaria subulata. Its rosette habit brings a different structure from a group of thin stems.

An aquarium plant must never reach the wild: throwing away cuttings or emptying a tank into a stream can be enough to establish it.

Provide medium to strong light and leave room for the rosettes. Runners let you separate young plants to extend the planting. The source description remains sparse: do not automatically give it the height or lawn-forming behaviour of a Sagittaria subulata sold under a similar name.
